Google Announces Several New AI Products

Google announced a LOT of new and upcoming AI tools at their I/O event this week, including ( link ):

• Maps with Immersive View for Routes, Magic Editor for Photos, and interactive ChatGPT-type dialogue in Google Search

• Bard is available w/ no waitlist and upcoming integration with Adobe Firefly, Khan Academy, Instacart, and more

• PaLM 2 language model powered the new PaLM API and was used to create the Med-PaLM2 tool to summarize medical texts

Wendy’s and Google Cloud will expand their partnership to bring Wendy’s FreshAI to fast food drive-thru lanes, soon. ( link )

ImageBind by Meta

ImageBind is a new creation by Meta that helps computers see and understand images similar to how people do, by identifying the relationships between objects in the pictures.

This could lead to improvements in virtual reality and other computer-assisted experiences. Read more here.

Stable Animation by Stability AI

Stability AI released Stable Animation SDK, a user-friendly tool that helps create lifelike and seamless animations. Read about it here.

ChatGPT Plugins & Web Browsing Available to ChatGPT Plus Users

OpenAI announced Plus users will get early beta access to Plugins and Web Browsing in ChatGPT. Plus users will soon see a new beta panel in their settings with these options, and plugins will need to be installed and enabled from the Plugins store. Read the notes here.
