🔮AI News This Week
Vision Pro -a new reality
Apple announced several new products and technology at the annual WWDC conference for developers, including Vision Pro.
Apple Vision Pro is a groundbreaking augmented reality (AR) device that seamlessly integrates digital content with the user's physical space.
There’s no controller - the device is controlled using eyes, hands, and voice, offering an immersive experience for various activities like apps, entertainment, photos, and videos.
Some of the features included:
Technology: Displays that deliver more pixels than a 4K TV to each eye.
Photos and Videos: Captures spatial photos and videos in 3D, allowing users to relive cherished moments with immersive Spatial Audio.
Apps: Users can arrange apps anywhere and scale them to the perfect size.
The device will start at a whopping $3,499 and will be available early next year. (link)

Runway’s Gen-2 is Available to Everyone
Runway finally released their Gen-2 text-to-video tool to everyone.
I’ve been waiting patiently(ish) for this amazing visual technology, and I wasn’t disappointed!
Gen-2 generates realistic videos from text, videos, or images and a text prompt. Videos are limited to 4-second clips, but I’ve been generating 3 in a row to create longer videos with different apps, including Wondershare and Adobe Express Beta.
It’s simple to use:
1. Write a text prompt description of what you want to see.
2. Adjust settings for fine-tuning - select “Upscale” for better resolution and “Interpolation” produces smoother results.
3. Click "Generate this" to create your video. The video will export to your Runway “Assets” folder and you can download it to your device.
Here is an example of a video I created with three 4-second Gen-2 clips using my surreal floating city landscape image as a reference with this workflow:
• Reference image: Midjourney
• Animation: RunwayML Gen-2
• Music: Co-created with Tracksy.ai
• Video & editing: Adobe Express Beta

👉 AI Use Case: Voice-to-Text Tools
Voice-to-text tools are a game-changer for productivity and content creation, enabling you to transcribe your thoughts and ideas directly into text, saving time and effort.
Voice note tools are like a digital notepad that listens to you talk and writes down what you say for you to look at later, like when you're coming up with ideas or during a meeting.
On the other hand, dictation tools write down what you say as you're saying it, which is great for when you're writing an email, social media post, or blog article.
📝 Voice Note Tools
Oasis: Transcribe, rewrite, and export your ideas in any format or style, including text messages, blog articles, emails, and Twitter threads. (link)
OtterAI: Transcribe your voice notes into text in real time. (link)
Just Press Record (iOS): Another tool similar to OtterAI records your voice and transcribes it into text immediately. (link)
Google Keep: Known for note-taking, Google Keep also has a voice note feature that transcribes your words into text. Just tap the microphone icon to speak and press “End” when you’re finished. (link)
🎤 Dictation Tools
Dragon NaturallySpeaking: This software is a leader in speech recognition technology, allowing you to dictate your content directly into your computer. (link)
Google Docs Voice typing: Speak into your microphone in Google Docs in your browser. (link)
Microsoft Dictate: This add-in for Microsoft Office lets you dictate text directly into your documents. (link)
Apple Dictation: Free dictation for iOS, MacOS, iPadOS (link - Mac)
There are many more tools available with paid and free options, ranging from browser extensions to pens and software.
I’ve used Oasis and OtterAI and each one has been tremendously helpful because I often think of ideas while I’m doing something unrelated and can’t write it down.
🎨 Favorite Image Prompts This Week
Everyday Life Anime is a fun style to use in image generators, including Niji Mode in Midjourney, but you can use the prompt in SDXL, Midjourney version 5.1, and most other models.
Prompt: [ subject ] in a [ optional setting ] in the style of Everyday Life Anime
Example: image of a farmer's market in a coastal town in the style of Everyday Life Anime
I learned a great short prompt from @ujmappa on Twitter, using ‘data’ as the keyword and any subject you can think of!
Prompt: [ data ] as a [ subject ]
Example: data as a flower, data as a mountain range at sunrise, sparkling data infinity pool
