I prefer the Dev model, over Pro. I think it's equal or very close to Midjourney for most of the prompts I tested. Flux has the advantage with accurate text rendering more consistently than MJ right now. And Flux will continue to improve with the massive amount of workflows / integrations built with the open source code. There were at least 50 platforms with Flux within 24 hours of its release, and 1 week later there are far too many to count.
Absolutely! They are so new, it takes a little time to test them to determine which one is best for a specific need. The pro can be used commercially, so it might be more practical for people who want to use images for commercial use. But they are all quite similar and now there are realism LoRA models on different platforms and ComfyUI workflows and they have advantages, too.
How do you judge the FLUX.1 models, especially the Pro version, compared to Midjourney?

Wow, first time I read that someone with a lot of experience in the space prefers Der over Pro. Very insightful reply. Thanks, Heather!
